Usage consideration of HG Polishen2/ 5mm for vibrating hair clippers
If you use vibrating hair clipper, then you should know the following recommendations:
Put HG Polishen2 attachment just on the working hair clipper!
If you switch on the hair clipper and after that put HG polishen2 on, the electromagnetic motor will make a rapid crack with a large amplitude.
If you decide to switch off your hair clipper during the working process, firstly you should take HG polishen2, then switch on hair clipper and finally put HG polishen2 again.
If you put HG polishen2 on already working hair clipper and you hear a loud voice, which is caused by clash of the upper blade and HG polishen2, you should regulate hair clipper vibration.
In case there is any interference (such as HG polishen2 fixation), the vibration of the hair clipper will glork because of the upper blade and HG polishen2 contact. That is the main reason why we suggest putting HG polishen2 just on the working hair clipper!
How to adjust the vibrating hair clipper and blade packages.
You should do the following steps in order to adjust and regulate the vibrating hair clipper with blades on the screw:
Firstly, switch clipper on and turn the side regulating screw in clockwise order slowly until the hair clipper starts to make loud metallic clack. It happens because of straight-line collision of coil with the magnetic shunt arm (vibrating arm) around it.
Now turn the screw slowly the other way round until the metallic clack stops.
Turn the screw a little bit further but no more than 1/8 turns.
After motor is fixed it is important to make sure that the top (cutting, working) blade is in right position accordingly to the lower (dead) blade. The side left teeth of the top blade should be on the same level with the side left teeth of the lower blade (they should match together on the green line). Then the side right teeth of the top blade will overlap the lower (dead) blade (the blue line).
Attention! You have to be sure that the distance between the teeth point of the top and lower blades (between the two red lines) is about 1 mm., but not less than 0.5 mm. The teeth points should be parallel to each other. You do not need to have an ideal parallel, because when the speed of work is 6000 strokes per minute, small “antiparallel” will be insensible.
Before fixing you should diminish slightly the screws of blade clip, then move the lower blade slowly aiming at the described blade position of both blades. Finally tighten the screws securely. For working take the straight-bladed screwdriver. Do not use coins, emery board, knifes etc.
You should be careful, if the top blade is too close to the edge, you can cut your skin.
Disruption of blade parallel can affect the cutting height. But in mostly this difference just can be invisible.
